Cyfer Plus Sdn Bhd encourages every employee to suggest ideas, improvements, and inventions that make the company or its products better. This policy explains how those contributions are handled and who owns them.
This policy applies to any invention, process improvement, software, design, or idea ("Innovation") that you develop during your employment where the Innovation is developed using company time, equipment, data, or confidential information, or relates to Cyfer Plus Sdn Bhd's actual or anticipated business.
Innovations within the scope above belong to Cyfer Plus Sdn Bhd, consistent with your employment agreement. Work clearly outside the scope of your role, developed entirely on your own time without using company resources or confidential information, is not covered by this policy.
Share your idea with your manager or Admin. Where useful, describe the problem it solves, how it works, and any resources it would need. There's no minimum bar — small process improvements are just as welcome as bigger ideas.
Cyfer Plus Sdn Bhd may recognize or reward contributions it adopts, at its discretion. Recognition isn't a right and doesn't change the ownership terms in Section 3.
Treat Innovations you're developing or discussing as confidential until the company decides how (or whether) to use them — don't share details outside the company or with colleagues who don't need to know.
